Who we are
The West End Community Association (WECA) is a non profit, non
aligned, incorporated association of residents and friends of
the West End Peninsula, encompassing the suburbs of West End,
Hill End, Highgate Hill and South Brisbane.
WECA was formed in 2004 in response to widespread community concerns
about the nature, magnitude and pace of proposed residential and
commercial development, and the impact of such development on
the local community.
