Issues
To create a cohesive plan of annual events which celebrate the
local community and which encourage the co-participation of different
people in the community in celebratory events including: artists
and artisans, sport and recreation, food groups, youth, children
and culture groups.
What WECA Promotes
Monthly community cabarets featuring local artists performing
at local community venue - Ahimsa House;
West Card Post Card Series - celebrating West End and highlighting
development issues - December 2005;
Participation in the annual West End Festival;
Regular community forums on local development issues - flyers
distributed to West End by volunteers.
